K B & the Riptides played their beach music Thursday night at the East Shore Park Club. This was a free concert open to the public.
The band was great. The people were friendly and they all enjoyed reading the latest copy of the Northeast Shore lines which was passed out by Nancy Croft. The concert was from 7-9pm. If it would have been outside like it was planned, it would have been more fun but nobody there let the rain spoil their fun.
A good time was had by all including Denise's 13 year old who did not want to go at first, then when she got there, she didn't want to leave. The next concert is July 3 with Jonah Koslin (he used to be with the Michael Stanley Band. I strongly encourage you to go to one of these concerts if you get the chance.
P.S. While the concert is free (because of funds provided by Neighborhood Connections) they will accept donations. Northeast Shores is the fiscal agent for the East Shore Park Block Club.

Mayor Jackson was here
Last night, City of Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson hosted his annual town hall meeting. Over 100 neighborhood residents and business owners were in attendance.
The Mayor answered questions about the status of the Recreation Center, neighborhood policing, abandoned homes, speeding tickets, community planning, and the Euclid Beach Carrousel.
This was the third year that the Mayor has come out to answer questions from the community. We want to thank the Mayor and his staff for their commitment to the City. And we want to really thank the attendees that came out and represented the neighborhood so strongly.
