This past Saturday, August 2nd, was the fourth annual Waterloo Arts Festival. Each year, the event gets better and better.
The day was filled with music, vendors, family and fun. There were tons of children's activities. Kid's could run through water sculptures, make drums to take home, and create their own chalk art.
We were particularly tickled to see Jerry Schmidt's write-up in the Plain Dealer Arts and Life Section on Saturday. That was a wonderful surprise and some great publicity for the event. If you missed it, you can check it out at:

It was also great to see all the merchants that got into the act. Whether it was Popsicles at Shoparooni or gyros from Fotina's, a great number of merchants and galleries showed off for the consistently strong crowd.
We want to also thank NASA and Vitamin Water for sponsoring the event. It was great to see their displays. It was also nice to get a refreshing drink from Vitamin Water or to enjoy the air conditioning on the NASA bus.
I hope you made it out to this great event. Please feel free to add a comment about your thoughts on the festival.
