Citizen Input Necessary To Deciding Future of Burke Lakefront Airport

Work has begun on a multi-faceted analysis that will help city officials determine once
and for all the future of Burke Lakefront Airport.

“A critical piece to the analysis is input derived from residents concerning the fate of the airport and property, “says Airport Director Ricky Smith. “It is critical that we hear the thoughts and feelings of the public in regard to this sometimes controversial project.’ Two public workshops have already taken place with one more slated for late August and another in September. Dates will be announced on the airport website: www.clevelandairport.com.

Individuals who are unable to attend any of the workshops may also visit the airport website to keep informed of project updates and/or share their thoughts and views.
