The old stone Zaller Bakery Building in Waterloo Village is undergoing a major makeover into an arts hub. Upstairs are two really charming new apartments. Each is a little over a thousand square feet.
Entrances are on the second floor. On that floor are bathroom, open kitchen, dining/living space and a bedroom. Each apartment has a staircase along one wall of its living area that takes you to your private half of the third floor where you’ll find your fun space for studio/office, your second bedroom and your laundry machine alcove.
Downstairs there will be the new Waterloo Seven gallery, Jerry Schmidt’s sculpture garden, gallery and studio and the office of an art appraiser. There is still a 500 square foot studio/retail space available. These spaces are still under construction but will be opening in April.
Rent for the larger apartment is $700 per month and, for the smaller $625. If interested in this wonderful rental artist housing opportunity, please call Miles at (216) 531-8161.
