Looking for a job?

Northeast Shores was made aware of two potential job opportunities for people looking.

Learn to do Cabling:
The Advanced Technology Academy has training funds available for Cuyahoga County Residents ages 18 – 21. We are looking for students to learn Residential and Commercial Cabling. The requirements are as follows:
1) Cuyahoga County resident
2) Age 18 – 21
3) Low income family (Workforce Investment Act guidelines are similar to those used for other programs, such as HEAP or Food Stamps.)
4) Clean criminal record (They must go into homes to install cable – no felonies allowed)
5) Valid Drivers License (They will eventually need to get a CDL in order to drive the installation trucks)

If you meet the above guidelines, course costs will be covered (about $2000). They must attend 120 hours of training (8 hours per day for three weeks). If you complete and pass all requirements for the course, you will receive nationally recognized certifications, and be recruited by top local Cable companies, such as Time Warner and Cox Cable.

Please pass this information to those whom you think would qualify and be interested in doing Cabling. Please have anyone interested, call Bob Stewart 216-987-3347 or Regina White at 216-987-6304.
